Spring High Park Prescribed
Burn Notice
Urban Forestry is again planning a prescribed burn in High Park this spring. They will soon begin monitoring weather conditions, to start forecasting the approximate timing of the burn. 24-hour notices will be distributed to local residents adjacent to High Park on Parkside Drive, and Bloor Street. They are burning a much smaller area this year so anticipate that the smoke issues should be greatly reduced.

High Park Residents' Association (HPRA) Chair Jeff Derksen made a deputation to the City of Toronto's Executive Committee on Monday, September 19th, immediately following the HPRA-sponsored Provincial Candidates Debate.
Content of this deputation reflects views expressed to the HPRA Executive by residents who attended the Toronto Service Review sessions in June.
